Neximage 10 does not appear

I am new to this - Using SC v4.09357. My Neximage 10 camera does not appear as an available camera. It appears as a Direct Show camera only. Wen I select that I get an error message. Help!!. Here is the log:

Hi and welcome

I'm far from a log expert but I noticed that it says that no ASCOM was detected. ASCOM is a software package that acts like an in between broker. It's a kind of software connection between the camera and SharpCap.
I suspect that after install, it will be detected. You can find it here https://ascom-standards.org at the upper right.
Also make sure to check your camera's manufacturer page for any drivers if needed.

Have you installed the Neximage 10 driver? It can be found at the link and includes a Windows 10 version:

Install the driver, then connect the camera and test if the camera shows in SharpCap.

Hi,

give Dave's suggestion about the driver a go if you haven't already, but I think that the Neximage 5/10 may be DirectShow only? I had a NexImage 5 at one point to test with (unfortunately I had to send it back) and I don't think the SDK for the rest of the Celestron range recognised it. It was quite a few years back though, so cannot be 100% sure.
