Hi,
I'm resurrecting an old Imaging Souce DMK41 for a meteor spotting task. SharpCap v4 sees the device, but treats it as a video camera, rather than
being able to take specific duration exposures from 1/10000th second to 3600seconds, as per the IS spec.
I want to be able to take for example, a single ten second exposure, not 10 seconds of video combined into 1 frame.
Is that possible?
Thanks,
Andrew
DMK41 (IS): How to take single frame of n seconds duration?

Re: DMK41 (IS): How to take single frame of n seconds duration?
Hi Andrew,
SharpCap does support long exposures on ImagingSource cameras (up to the maximum allowed by the camera), but does not support a still camera/snapshot mode with these cameras. I have looked at the documentation and it does look like trigger mode should be possible (at least on some models of camera), so I will have to investigate at some point if I have a camera that supports it and if I can get it working.
cheers,
Robin
