I would like to propose a feature that tracks comets and/or asteroids.

Hi,
this isn't something that's likely to happen soon, so I thought I would mention that if you are using EQMOD then you can do this already without needing SharpCap - see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTQFoPC_i3s
