Filter Wheel Controls do not appear

#1

Post by Tom°Dresden »

Hello,

I use Sharpcap Pro 4.0 64bit, ZWO EFWmini, on Windows10.
If I watch sytem settings-> device manager, I can see a new HID device appear when I connect ZWO EFW.
I can also choose ZWO EFW in hardware settings of Sharpcap (this choice also disappears if I unpug ZWO EFW).
So all seems fine, BUT I don't see any filter wheel control panel.
This is also the case if I choose a filter wheel simulator, no control panel.
I have another PC with Sharpcap, there it works, so I know where the wheel control appears and how it looks like.

Please help .. any idea what I'm doing wrong ?

Regards,

Thomas

Hi,

the filter wheel controls should be on the right hand side in a block labelled 'Scope Controls' . The scope controls block may be collapsed initially - use the little down arrow button to open it up.

As far as I can see from your log, the EFW is being detected correctly and SharpCap is even getting a list of filters from it, so I think the above is the most likely reason you are not seeing the control.

thanks,

Robin
