Sensor analysis and scripting

#1

Post by MH_Astro »

Hello,
I made a sensor analysis with my ASI2600MC-Pro. Based on ZWO diagram the Read Noise (e-ms) "breakpoint is at 100 Gain.

I inserted the following script in the script console to find the exact Gain Value:
SharpCap.SelectedCamera.SetGainsOfInterestForSensorAnalysis([95,96,97,98,99,100,101,102,103,104,105])

Unfortunately it didn't work. Where is my mistake in the script

Thank you in advance and kind regards
Mario

Hi,

were you using the very latest SharpCap 4 from the downloads page for this? There were some errors in older versions of SharpCap 4 that meant that the extra gain values could be ignored for some cameras.

cheers,

Robin
