Hallo, I use the ASI zwo 120 mm camera as all sky camera.
Is it possible to use a higher "GAIN" than 100?
I need about gain 250 or so, but the only thing I can do is the automatic setting on 100%.
Thanks!
Maurits

Re: Gain
Hi,
It looks like the 120MM/MC have a maximum gain of 100, which seems to correspond to a relative gain of about 60x - this is a smaller range than for the more recent ZWO cameras with Sony sensors and also the gain values for this model are not based on decibels as they are for more recent ZWO cameras.
Anyway, as far as I can see 100 is the maximum possible value for this camera (SharpCap just asks the camera what it's maximum value is and it replies with 100) - you could try asking ZWO on their forums but I expect they will give the same answer.
cheers,
Robin
