In the "SharpCap Sequence Progress" window there is a check box" Keep Progress Visable." What is its purpose? When should it be checked?

Hi,
Should you check it... it depends...
If you do check it, it will keep the progress on top (even on top of other applications like a web browser, email or planetarium). If you do not check it and swap to another application then the progress will be hidden behind that new application.
If you don't use another application while your sequence is running then it really doesn't matter.
