Dark background behind timestamp

#1

Post by Artemis »

Hello,

Would it be possible to have a background behind the timestamp so that it is readable when there is excess light on that part of the image.

I use Sharpcap for meteor observations and have found an 8 second exposure works well for my location, however when the moon is in frame it can
wash-out part of the image. I have attached a clip of one of my images that shows the issue.

Hi,

thanks for the suggestion - a good idea. Let's hope that it can just be changed rather than needing a 'dark background / no dark background' option :)

cheers,

Robin
