Will SharpCap support my Nikon D5300 DSLR? Thank you.

not directly. There is an ASCOM driver for DSLR cameras that *may* work - see https://github.com/FearL0rd/ASCOM.DSLR/ ... stallation
This ASCOM driver project was quite active about a year or so ago, but hasn't seen much going on recently. It's certainly worth a try, as people have had both Nikon and Canon DSLR cameras working, but I'm not sure how much help you can get if it doesn't work properly (I'm not an expert in using it). It's worth making sure that you have SharpCap 4.0 before trying this - the still mode option that is new in 4.0 is much better suited for use with a DSLR.
