Ok, quick question whilst away from kit.
If you are acquiring in raw format, can you select an roi and it save only that roi but save in raw format?

yes, if your camera supports ROI (and most do) then you can do this. The offset to the top left corner of the ROI can only be adjusted in multiples of 2, otherwise they effective bayer pattern of the pixels in the ROI would be different from the main frame, and that gets confusing, so SharpCap limits the offset to even numbers.
