Hi,
Last week as l was imaging my laptop froze, the after about an hour l finally got it on again.
Started Sharpcap and noticed camera 1 was now my asi183mc pro camera and camera 2 is now asi120mm which l use for guiding.
Up until the laptop freeze both camera's were working fine with Sharpcap and PHD2, but now PHD2 uses the 183mc camera to guide.
If l only have the 120mm selected in SC and PHD2 it works fine, but as soon as l change back to the 183mc PHD2 picks that camera.
So my question is can l delete all my camera's from the camera drop down and add them again or can l just swap the camera's back as 1 and 2.
I've clicked on the manage button in camera controls and it shows me my cameras but default and delete aren't highlighted so l can't change anything.
I hope you can help.
Thanks
How to reverse from camera 1 to camera 2 in camera dropdown??

Re: How to reverse from camera 1 to camera 2 in camera dropdown??
Hi,
the order that the cameras show up in the menu isn't something you can control - it comes from the ZWO software that detects and provides access to the cameras. SharpCap asks for a list of connected cameras and maybe the ZWO software replied '183C, 120MM' or maybe '120MM, 183C'.
The only thing I can think of that might affect which order they appear in is which USB ports they are connected to - maybe by swapping USB ports you can change the order around?
cheers,
Robin

Thanks Robin, I'll try swapping the USB ports and see what happens. It will just mean l can't use the USB3 port for the 183mc camera, but l guess having it work is better than nothing.
I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks again

Some things to consider/try:
We are just past the time of Windows updates - you never know.
Something might come out of the tests.
