Beta 3.3.7093 feedback

#1

Post by fly_n »

Hello Robin,
having more time on hand than anticipated I started cleaning up my scripts for SharpCap in order to be ready when the weather is.
In SharpCap 3.2 I was having difficulties passing a path name as a variable to SharpCap.SelectedCamera.CaptureSingleFrameTo(path) - it was driving me crazy. This is resolved in the beta I'm using now. Many thanks for that.
Also the handling of errors in scripts is much better than in 3.2. I was constantly killing 3.2 in the TaskManager prior to resolving errors I had made in my script... and many errors are made when writing a script or expanding it (that' true for me at least).
In the 3.3 beta I have yet to kill the application through my script.

Looking forward to using the sequencer. It looks to be an outstanding feature.
Thank you, Norman

Hi Norman,

glad to hear it's working well for you :)

There was an issue with 3.2 when a background call ended up writing to the python console - basically it would write the output and not put the '>>>' prompt back, which then left the console unusable. I suspect this may have been part of your problem.

cheers,

Robin

Hi Christian,

we aim to please :) I've also turned that off by default as I feel that it's probably not something the majority of users are interested in. I think it should also get deleted correctly now if you delete the last capture.
