ORION NEBULA (M42)

M42 taken 02/22/2020.
February was when I first started with astrophotography and the Orion Nebula was my first target.
CPC800 SCT
ZWO ASI 183MC Pro
Optolong L-Pro filter Broadband
HyperStar focal reducer 1.9
Both camera and reducer placed on front of scope (replaced secondary mirror).
CPWI software for guiding
SharpCap 3.2/live stacking/1hr/2spf
Photoshop

How many frames did you collect and what was your exposure and gain?
What software did yo then use to process your image?

I would love to shoot Orion but a little help would be much appreciated!

I've never used a system as fast as 1.9. It must get an awful lot of light very quickly. Don't know what gain and exposure were used but looks like some parts got overexposed? Perhaps worth exploring stacking much shorter exposures but more of them for a similar total time? M42 is just so bright. I recall getting pretty good images just with my unguided Dob using 10s exposures at F 4.5. Just wondering what Sharpcap brain recommends? Tim
