Markarian's Chain

#1

Post by umasscrew39 »

Finally a night of average seeing so captured the Markarian's Chain using a wide field view with an 80mm APO Triplet. The 2.8 hr total capture was performed using a ZWO ASI533MC Pro camera (200 gain/10 offset). Individual frames were 120s guided exposures. I was able to see 13 objects, albeit some of them very faint.....NGC 4438, NGC 4435, NGC 4425, NGC 4407, M 86, NGC 4406, NGC 4402, NGC 4388, NGC 4387, M 84, NGC 4374 and IC 3311.
