Robin - I am happy to report that I imaged last night for about 6 hours and the new version did not save any dither frames.

Hi,
The first log does look like a live stacking log, but every case where the exposure is drop-down I can see the corresponding log event of it being put back up to 45 seconds afterwards. At the end it looks like the last dinner finishes in the exposure is restored and then you shut down SharpCap about 30 seconds later. The second log looks like it is one from a polar alignment session.
Do have a go with the very latest version (links above) if you can – it looks promising that that might resolve most of these issues.

I'll try hunting for the right log. But... I did try the latest version you posted and it seems to have fixed the problems. Ran it for 3.5 hours last night with no issues.
