For some reason beyond me, the pds line of sw reflectors is not available in USA. However, i was not hit with customs/import charges when I received it, so hopefully it would be a straightforward purchase for you.

Cheers,

Your software sounds like something akin to what startools4 attempts to do?

Minos,

I used StarTools 1.3 up until I found APP a year ago. I wasn't aware that StarTools version 4 had a tool like mine. If it is similar then the difference is that mine is free. All you need is a web browser. I'm not aware that anyone has a patent on the CCD Equation.

Brian, sorry if I appear daft, but I 'm not sure I can find APP that launches in a web browser.

I think APP is for astro pixel processor, but then again, I can't find any web browser ability...I found this:https://freestar8n.shinyapps.io/StackSNR/ but again not sure to what you're referring to.

Sorry and thanks for the help :)

App is great but I still use StarTools when I do narrowband to reduce star sizes.

Oh, sorry, APP is AstroPixelProcessor. I use it now instead of DSS or StarTools.

My software for calculating SNR of a stacked image is:

I must have misunderstood your earlier reply. If I am not mistaken I thought you were saying that my U235+SNR website does something similar to StarTools version 4.

Thanks Brian, sorry if I wasn't clear myself. I'll check it out.
