Re: Flat field usb problem
Both of the examples you've provided show the white histogram curve at 40%. Try moving the peek to 50%, this is my default and generates working flats with the 294. Settings that work for me are 300 gain, 0 brightness and adjust exposure to move the white histogram peek to 50%. Example for my RC6 using and IDAS D1 filter and a $20.00 tracing pad (illumination source) on lowest setting that is defused through a T-shirt the settings are 360 ms exposure, 300 gain, 0 brightness. Flats tool setup for 50 frames, mono and bias checked.
Re: Flat field usb problem
I installed the latest version of Sharpcap and tried to capture 3 master flat with the following results.
For all the tests I used a Skywatcher 80ED telescope with a Geoptik flat field.

Re: Flat field usb problem
Try using Bias in the flat frame tool along with mono.
Re: Flat field usb problem
The problem is not solved, it remains the same.

Re: Flat field usb problem
What's the difference between frames 4, 5 and 6. Frame 4 looks OK. I've opened the three images you have attached in Photoshop and they are all usable with image 4 being best. Which software are you opening the images in? Have you tried fits Liberator?
This attached image is your image 4 stretched in Photoshop.

I would consider this a usable image.

Re: Flat field usb problem
The images are opened with Astoart 6.
The three images have the same settings.
The first was acquired after restarting Sharpcap 3.2 and the other two immediately after with the same settings
