Plate solving can't find star index

Last night I was trying to use Sharpcap's plate solving feature for the first time. I got an error message stating that I needed to download h18 index before Sharpcap could platesolve. I know I downloaded the h18 index because the icon is on my desktop and the index itself took about two hours to download. Any idea why SC can't see the index? Any suggestions as to how I can verify the index is, in fact, downloaded? And yes, I am terribly computer "challenged." LOL
