I checked the option during Live Stacking to 'Save Individual Frames' and Sharpcap Pro created multiple .PNG files. Is this the format that's used to put into a program like PIxInsight or Deep Sky Stacker to stack? I expected it to be in a .FIT type format?
Is there some option that I can check to put it in a different format?

Re: Save Individual Frame Format
For PixInsight, which is what I use, you should only use FITS for your captures. If you are live viewing and want to save the individual frames as FITS, you can save them by pressing the second option under SAVE: Save As Raw (32 bit) Stack. If you are not live viewing and want to save individual frames as FITS, first change the output format from PNG to FITS and then go to start capture on the toolbar and begin collecting your individual FITS files to stack in PixInsight.

Re: Save Individual Frame Format
Hi,
Also, check the preferred still image file format option on the first page of the setting – make sure you set that FITS.
Hope this helps, Robin

Robin,
I found that setting for FITS like you stated and it worked.
Thanks.
