Image Quality
Image Quality
Will there be a significant difference in image quality if the subs are captured using SharpCap, Sequence Generator Pro, NINA, AltairCapture, or other imaging capture software? Does imaging capture software matters? Thanks.

Re: Image Quality
Hi,
Pretty much all capture software should save the data that comes off of the camera straight to image files with no changes, so the image quality should be the same for all software. You may find that different software makes it easier or more difficult to control the camera or perhaps gives you access to more of the camera options.
One exception to this to note is if you are using the image processing functions built into SharpCap – that is dark subtraction, flat frame correction or banding reduction. If these are enabled then the image saved will have the effects of those image processing functions included into it.
Hope this helps, Robin
