Lost in space

Post by Danoglide64 »

Hello everyone,
Last night I did the live stack on NGC40 and took 50 images at 30 second exposure with gain set on 380 as per the brain on the histogram suggested.I did 10 darks and 10 flats. The images looked pretty good but when I opened Registax 6 the color red was gone. What did I do wrong?

Hi,

looks like you have saved the images in RAW format and you need to tell your processing application to debayer them to get the colour back.

Thanks Robin,
I also posted my question under "Livestacking" and got the same answer you gave me. I downloaded/installed PIPP and ran the stacked image and came out with this image I'm posting here. I did edit it a little with Corel Paintshop.
Thanks again,
Dano
