Sunrise in and around crater Walther (animation)

Post by Menno555 »

I did get myself a very early Christmas gift: a TeleVue 2" PowerMate 4x :D And last evening I had first light with it.
Sadly there was a lot of seeing but the results were already good. It does make my scope a f/40 (8000mm FL) system but the large pixelsize of my Zwo ASI482MC can handle that very well ... at least, when the seeing is good to perfect :P
Busy now with processing the shots but I did first make this animated GIF of sunrise shadows in and around Walther. It's a 50 minutes difference.
Click the GIF for a larger version.

Nice - good effect and resolving things only about 1.5 km across! Tim
