Newbie here. I have a TMB 105/650 CNC telescope, focal length is 650mm. The 174 chip-based cam has a 5.86u pixel size and will produce a 1.86" arcsecond/pixel size based on my FL. The 183 chip-based cam has 2.4u pixel size, 0.67" arcsecond/pixel
Which one is the best match for my scope. The camera will be used primarily for solar and lunar photography only. Thanks
174 or 183 Chip-Based Camera?

Re: 174 or 183 Chip-Based Camera?
I used an ASI83mc pro (non Cooled) on the almost full Moon on 4/27 of this year. While I got good results after processing one of my runs, all the views with SharpCap even as I continually moved the gain back and back. The image shows also had a bright, high contrast very poor quality while the video strip was near perfect. I know the camera is made for very dim objects and the full well value is low but I still do not understand what happened.
