The dll that is missing is in the attached zip file. Please try copying the DLL from the zip file into your SharpCap install folder and see if that helps.

I will ship that DLL in the installer then, although I still don't understand why your system needs it but others don't. Just one of those things I suppose

Maybe it is just the case of some files missing in the win10 config of my laptop. As I mentioned, PC no problems at all but yeah good that it has been resolved. Now I can concentrate on shooting stars

I did find references to "Windows will look for referenced DLLs in the same folder as the calling application", so supplying the file should prevent further issues. Searches seem to indicate this to be related to a transition from .NET 4.6 and 4.7 - as though something goes wrong in the upgrade.
I wonder if Windows Home/Pro comes into this?
