Last version that plate solve works for me is 3.1.5132 with same settings I get 153 stars and any newer ver. I only get 5 stars as sources.

Hi Don,
go to the plate solve settings and either
1) turn down the sigma value
or
2) untick the 'automatically downsample large images' box
I recently added a change to make the plate solver use downsampling (binning) on large images (roughly >2000 pixels wide). It makes plate solving work a lot faster and more reliably, but may need a different sigma setting (lower if you don't get enough stars, higher if you get too many).
