Hi,

ZWO removed the ability to adjust gamma in the latest versions of their SDK - I don't know the reason why - this means that SharpCap can no longer include a gamma control for ZWO cameras. You can use the histogram stretch in SC3.1 to adjust the brightness onscreen without affecting saved data (which will still be RAW data coming off the sensor). Here is the list of changes from their latest SDK version (I would link to this on their website, but that seems broken at the moment).

Code: Select all

V1.13.1.12 2018.1.19
Remove support of gamma
AWB takes effect under low brightness scene
Fix blocking bug of ASIStopVideoCapture
If you really need gamma support then you will need to persuade ZWO that they have made a mistake and get them to put it back - maybe post a question on their forums asking why they have removed it - https://bbs.astronomy-imaging-camera.com ?

From what I understand ZWO also removed Offset from their Pro camera line.
