May I ask another plate solving question on this thread?
I just experienced a successful plate solve followed by the following
Could not sync mount to plate solve location. SyncToTarget() RaDec sync was rejected.
Could someone direct me where to investigate?
I would like to note that SharpCap is connected to the mount and I have been able to move it via SC.

Re: Plate Solving Issues
Hi,
I think you get this error message when you are using EQMOD and the sync position is too far away (several degrees or more) from the current pointing position of the mount. Basically this is EQMOD saying 'not doing that - it looks wrong to me'.
This is probably a sign that either your initial polar alignment was some way out, or you didn't start the mount from the home position (or close to it).
Cheers,
