When capturing darks, and you click start, it defaults to fit's files
But does not save the dark
when you change it to png after you click start it saves.
clive.

Thanks for the report - a quick test just worked for me. Maybe it only happens in some circumstances. What camera, resolution and colour space were you using?

cheers,

Robin

I have a 1600MC equivalent from a different vendor at the moment - just tested with that and it seems to work fine, but it takes quite a long time in the averaging stage, even on a fast PC. I see 'Averaging Captured Dark Frames' for 20s or so before the result appears in the notification bar. On a slower system, the notification might time out while the averaging is still running.

Please can you post your SharpCap log from after the problem has happened if you want me to investigate this any more.

thanks,

Robin

I just downloaded and installed the latest beta 2.10.3649.
It took the license fine

Also the issue of saving darks seems to be gone.

It automatically saves as a png irrespective of the (output format) box setting.

did you change something in latest beta?
cheers
Clive.

Ah, that's good to hear. I don't recall fixing that bug specifically, but maybe it's a happy side effect of fixing something else :)
