Re: Error when starting camera Loadstar X2.
Hi,
the error code works out as meaning 'The request was aborted', but it's not clear what that actually means - it seems likely that there was a problem with the transfer of the image data from the camera to the computer. Does the camera work correctly with other software using the same connection cable back to the computer?
cheers,
Robin

I did work properly but suddenly I got this error. Can an update of Windows 10 be the cause of the problem?

Re: Error when starting camera Loadstar X2.
Hi,
I wouldn't expect a Windows update to cause this issue, but you never know.
Did you upgrade SharpCap recently? Between versions 4.0.8060 and 4.0.8091 I added a new StarlightXpress SDK to SharpCap - just wondering if that change could have had an impact? Mind you I test with a Lodestar X2 as it is the only SX camera I have, so I wouldn't have expected a problem with that model. I just rechecked and have my Lodestar X2 working nicely with the latest SharpCap 4.0.
cheers,
Robin

Hi
When I changed the camera to Lodestar Pro it works. The troublemaker in this case seems to be my camera Lodestar X2.

Hi,
Ok, so possibly a hardware fault (or at least the hardware might have been unreliable). Thanks for reporting back.
