Cannot do sensor analysis on Altair 185c TEC Fan stops starts

Cannot do sensor analysis on Altair 183c in either 64 bit or 32 bit SC 4.0
Fan starts and stops between each picture download

See attached logs

Hi Dan,

from one point of view there is no need - SharpCap includes analysis for the 183C and M cameras, including the TEC version as part of the install.

What I can see though is that you are getting problems with dropped frames from the camera - this means that the camera isn't responding properly to requests for images. SharpCap can restart the camera which often gets things going again (this restart causes the fan stop/start), but the underlying problem that is causing the dropped frames is still there. How is the camera connected back to the computer? This sort of problem is often due to long USB cables, extensions or hubs

Hi Robin:

The problem in the vast majority of previous cases was corrupt Windows files. The only exception to this is the ZWO ASI 183m camera. These is a problem here...as you have observed the exposures seem to jump all over the place and finally sensor analysis fails. I did get one Sensor Analysis to run to completion the majority executions have failed.
