#1

Post by AstroNikko »

System Specs:
- Player One Neptune-C II (IMX464) Planetary Camera
- Asus ZenBook UX31A (2013), Intel Core i7-3517U, 4GB RAM, 1TB SSD
- Windows 10 Home (64bit), Version 20H2, Build 19042.1110

Prerequisites:
- SharpCap 4.0.8026.0 (64bit)

Description:
SharpCap window becomes unresponsive to user input when using the ADC Alignment Tool after using Feature Tracking.

Steps:
1. With camera connected,
2. The user selects "Tools > Feature Tracking (Experimental)" from the toolbar.
3. Selects "Tools > ADC Alignment" from the toolbar.
4. Attempts to select any interactable element of the SharpCap window.
5. Observes the SharpCap window no longer responds to user input.

Bug (10/10):
SharpCap window becomes unresponsive to user input, and is only able to be closed via Windows Explorer or Task Manager.

Note:
This issue occurs anytime ADC Alignment is used after Feature Tracking is used during the same session. Feature Tracking does not have to be active.

Hi,

thanks for the report - the code was updating the graph far too often, which is particuarly noticeable for high frame rate cameras like the PlayerOne cameras. I think the feature tracking window being alive just made the problem a bit worse (and therefore more noticeable).

I have limited the graph update rate, which seems to cure the problem.

cheers,

Robin
