I evaluated Sharpcap today (5/7/21) but mistakingly installed the 32 bit version and not the 64 bit version. I confirmed my Starlight Express Lodestar camera would be recognized, and it was. I the purchased the PRO license. I realized I should have installed the 64 bit version so I uninstalled the 32 bit version and installed the 64 bit version. My camera was then not recognized by Sharpcap. I then uninstalled 64 and reinstalled the 32 bit version, and my camera again was recognized.
So, for some reason, the 64 bit version does not “see” the Starlight Express camera.
I also downloaded both versions today from the Sharpcap site.
Sharpcap 32 bit version that recognizes my camera: 3.2.6482.0
Sharpcap 64 bit version that does not recognize my camera:3.2.6482.0-64bit
Window 10 OS
Starlight Express Lodestar not showing up in 64 bit version

Re: Starlight Express Lodestar not showing up in 64 bit version
Hi,
that is expected - StarlightXpress do not make a 64-bit version of their software development kit (SDK), so SharpCap 64 bit cannot talk to the cameras (caveat : at least there was no 64 bit version the last time I checked a few months ago).
It's annoying, but not something that I can fix without an update from SX. I even have a hover message on the download page - when you hover the mouse over the 64 bit download link it tells you which cameras are not supported.
cheers,
Robin
