Issue with FITS files of OSC cameras generated by Sharpcap

Hello

I had issues processing subframes taken with sharpcap within PixInsight.
Together with PixInsight I found a workaround.
But recently I've got a message from a PixInsight Admin as follows:

Hi Roland,

your issue is not a single one. Therefore I actually intended to contact Robin Glover (the creator of Sharpcap) in order to explain the cause of the incompatibility and ask for changing the FITS keywords comprising the CFA offsets. However, no email address is disclosed and the Sharpcap website does not provide a contact form either. Bugs shall be posted in the Sharpcap forum, but I am reluctant to register because I am not using this software.

Perhaps you can request the change of the FITS keyword names:
BAYOFFX -> XBAYROFF
BAYOFFY -> YBAYROFF
in order to enhance the compatitibility of Sharpcap and PixInsight?

Can you help?

Regards
Roland

Hi,

I will make SharpCap 4.0 write both - Google gives only gives 59 hits for XBAYROFF but 7000+ for BAYOFFX, so I don't want to remove a keyword that seems to be used more widely than the PI version.

cheers,

Robin
