Sensor Analysis

#1

Post by DuaneS »

Hi - I am running latest build of Sharpcap Pro. I am trying to do a sensor analysis on a ZWO ASI294mm using an LED flat panel. I am not the selection rectangle on the image and therefore cant make any adjustments. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

Hi,

it's a bit of a bug – sometimes the selection area can get really small so that it's almost impossible to see. When that happens you should see two red arrows overlaid on the screen that point to the where the selection area is. Use the zoom functionality to gradually zoom in on that part of the image and eventually you will see the selection area which you can then make bigger.

In SharpCap 3.3 I've made this a lot easier – all you need to do is double-click somewhere on the image and that will reset the selection area to about half of the area that is currently in view.

Hope this helps, Robin
