Connection problem of USB_Focus focuser

#1

Post by db48 »

When I start SharpCap (2.10.3600) my USB_Focus V3 Focuser (http://www.usb-foc.us/, ASCOM driver v2.64) is connected, and apparently works well.
However, before closing SharpCap, I MUST uncheck the “Connected” selection box in the Focuser control panel (see enclosed picture).

If I leave the “Connected” box checked, the focuser cannot be connected any more. If I restart SparpCap I get an error message (see figure below).

Ok, thanks for the report - I can understand what is happening here - SharpCap is not disconnecting the focuser correctly on shutdown which somehow leaves the serial port open so that it cannot be used the next time. I will put it on the to-fix list for 2.10

cheers,

Robin
