Error occurred after selecting camera QHY-10-0-C

Post by JSL »

Hello,
I have a problem with my camera QHY10.
After selecting my camera, a dialog box showed up.
The title of the dialog box is "An error occurred while starting your QHY-10-0-C".
The details of the error are: Error 'QHYCCD_ERROR' from call to Camera.SetBitDepth(depth=8).
Camera: QHY10
PC: Intel NUC6i5SYH
OS: Windows 10 Pro 1703 build 15063.540
SharpCap: version3.0

I can't do nothing with QHY10.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I wonder if this camera doesn't support 8 bit mode - maybe that's the problem. Of course the real question is how can I tell in advance that a camera doesn't support 8 bit mode!

I will try to sort out a special build for you to test that cuts out 8 bit mode - if that works then we know we are on the right track.

cheers,

Robin
