SharpCap Pro3.2.6366
Livestack save in bad (previuous) folder at 1st save and in correct folder in following saving
The problem of the wrong folder while saving I had already reported it and you had responded with a new version
In File/Setting I set the folder for SC to save the image
first I make a dark that I apply; dark folder is ok
GOTO M10 for example
I set a sequence of 10s and automatic saving every 3 min; for each object I repeat this sequence three to five times in a row
Folder and images are ok
PAUSE the livestack
X Close the livestack
GOTO M12
no shot parameters changed; check image are ok
WRITE M12 hit enter (beep)
Open Livestack - start
the 3min sequence start,
at the end the fit16 fit 32 etc. are saved in the M10 folder
the sequence clear and restart automatically
at the end the folder M12 is created and the fit16 fit 32 etc. are saved in the M12 folder
I continue for two more sequence, all ok; all saved in M12 folder
Pause sequence; clear livestax (X)
GOTO M5
as first type M5 and press enter (beep) (I press alst tab, tab, tab for testing,....)
Start sequence
the first image are saved in M12 folder
I don't touch anything and let the program do
at the end of the second sequence the folder M5 is created and the files saved correctly
THE SEQUENCE IS SAVED CORRECTLY (AND THE FOLDER CREATED) ONLY FROM THE SECOND IMAGE
THE FIRST IMAGE IS ALWAYS SAVED IN THE LAST FOLDER (PREVIOUS)
A CURIOUS THING
if BEFORE starting a new sequence (the files will be saved in the previous folder) I perform a SNAPSHOT the folder is created and the snapshot is saved well BUT THE SEQUENCE NOT ! always goes (only the first time) in the previous folder

Re: LIVE STACK SAVE IN BAD FOLDER
Hi,
If you go to the folder
c:\users\<your username>\AppData\Local\SharpCap\logs
then you will find log files from previous times you have run SharpCap - each is named based on the time that SharpCap was started.
If you can find the log file that relates to the series of steps that you describe and post it here then there will be lots of info in it that will help me track down why this is happening.
thanks,
Robin

Re: LIVE STACK SAVE IN BAD FOLDER
Thanks,
the last log looks like it is the goldmine! - I think I can see what is happening and will try to work out a fix.
cheers,
Robin
