Error loading Master Dark created by SC

Post by bemo47 »

Hi,

I wanted to do a comparison between two stacked frames, one with STC filter, one wihout. I did two different master darks for that, both 180sec, but one at 100 gain and the second at 300 gain.
One masterdark was created one day, the second one was created the following day.
Between them iguess i installed the last version of SC, 6342 64 bits, but also ASCOM 6.5 and last drivers published by ZWO.
Now when i want to process again, through Folder Monitor, the 1st set of images with the masterdark created first, Gain 100, i get an error :
Capture.JPG
Capture.JPG (18.28 KiB) Viewed 783 times
So i cannot replay these images by using the linked master dark.

I attach also the logs
Capture.JPG
Capture.JPG (18.28 KiB) Viewed 783 times
and a link to both masterdarks on onedrive https://1drv.ms/u/s!AlDkZrpMCqyOhI0lvki ... g?e=wsz0iD

Camera is ZWO ASI533MC.

Hi,

It looks like the master dark frame created by pixinsight is saved in 32-bit floating point format, which is not supported by SharpCap for either writing or reading. SharpCap should support 32-bit integer format for reading (although I'm not sure if this is widely used) and will certainly support 16 bit integer format.

Hope this helps, Robin
