Heya Robin,

Latest version Live Stack has a problem. When you click clear in live stack actions the image clears but the frames stacked does not clear. Also starting a new stack allows stacking to continue but the live stack overview frames stacked, ignored and total exp. no longer increments. Once you restart the live stack histogram also no longer updates until you auto stretch. I was using 64bit an other broadcaster on NSN had same results in 32 bit. To regain the correct behavior SC restart is required.

ALSO when "save individual frames" is clicked the stack crashed.

Thanks for the reports – there was a similar report in another thread earlier today and I pulled the download of that version off-line to give me time to fix the problems. The failure to update was an annoying one as it seems to work first time and only stopped working after you have either closed and reopened live stack reset it somehow perhaps by changing camera parameters.

I think I have a fix for all the problems now and will have a new version available to test within the next half hour.

I have used the latest update version 3.2.6293.0 during a EAA session.
Now all issues seem to be resolved. ASTAP, Stacking, Save individual fits files works fine.

I'm getting this error when trying to load a dark frame with v3.2.6293

Using v.6293 flats and darks worked fine for me. The darks were made about two weeks ago in a different version and flats were made with v.6293. Don shared the error with me but I was not having the same experince.

Hi Don,

Can you check your logs to see if there is an error recorded when the frame fails to load? I have found another problem that sometime SharpCap can try to open the file before it is finished being copied into the folder, which I will have a fix for in the next version. I want to find out if your problem is the same or something different

Hi Don,

I'm sorry to say that's an incomplete log that just covers the start-up of SharpCap – it doesn't even get as far as opening the camera sadly.

Watch out for the next version which I will try to get online over the weekend – that will have some more fixes for the folder monitor camera.
