Hi,

I don't think that the original issue will have come back, but of course they could be a second one. There's a lot more information saved to the log now which should help track down any current issues much more quickly if you could send me a log file after the problem has happened.

here is the log
first i open the correct folder with 3 images
then i stack the 3 but livestack says 2 stacked
then i add a 4th to the folder
impossible to get SC to detect the 4th

Hi,

Thanks for the log. It looks like the file is being copied into the folder under a different name and then renamed once it is in the folder. I wonder if this sequence of steps is not quite handled correctly. I will have to check the code.

ah, ok, an explanation is that i use Syncbackfree to cipy from the imaging computer to the SC computer, and then i run SC on this second computer.
And yes, when Syncbackfree does the copy it create a dummy name during the copy, and then rename the file at the end with the right name.

Another possibility is that is ask SC to read directly over the local network in the source directory.... could be simpler... but longer

I confirm that by taking the remote directory it works quite fine.
So, may be its not reallt mandatory to solve the Syncbackfree issue.... ;)
