Re: Polar Align causes sharpcap crash
Hi,
The quick solution for this is to switch from the 64-bit version of SharpCap to the 32-bit version of SharpCap. For some reason on a small handful of computers this problem seems to occur in the 64-bit version and I'm afraid I don't really understand why. The code that does the star detection for the polar alignment routines and other things like live stacking just won't load Unfortunately this happens at a point where it's very difficult to get further information about the problem without using developer tools like a debugger.
I tried some tests myself like running the 64-bit version of SharpCap and a brand-new Windows 10 install with no other software thinking that maybe I would see the same problem, but so far I haven't been able to make it break myself.
Cheers, Robin

Robin,
Thanks for the quick reply. I will reinstall a 32 bit version and post the results.
