Binning in 3.0

#1

Post by ghutton »

Hi I've just started using SharpCap where I've downloaded 3.0 and in the Capture Format and Area there is no binning option - this section just shows Output Format, Capture Area and Colour Space. I have a Point Grey Grasshopper 3 Mono. I'm using Windows 10.
Thanks.

Hi Graeme,

PGR only supports binning for GigE cameras and I'm afraid that I haven't implemented that support in SharpCap yet. My thought was that this feature would be less important as PGR seem to be used primarily for solar/lunar/planetary, but maybe is was wrong.

cheers,

Robin

Ok, thanks good to know. In truth, I've only used it once on solar. I was more concerned that I might be misreading the UI and it was hidden somewhere with some other features. :-) Graeme
