Plate Solve Time
Robin - I'm not sure if my Facebook post made it - so I will repeat here. The polar alignment plate solver reports that it took 1.2 seconds. I'm using an older, notoriously slow Dell Latitude d430 running 64 bit windows 7 pro. The computer controls the camera, an ASCOM mount and an ASCOM focuser through a powered USB hub. was running version .3956

Re: Plate Solve Time
Thanks for that - useful info. I am planning on increasing the number of stars in the database, which will make that initial bit a little slower, but going from 1s to 3s is fine I think (going from 5s to 15s not so fine!)
cheers,
Robin

I got 1.6 seconds to plate solve the polar alignment with an Intel Computestick (quad core atom processor).
