Both Windows 7 and Windows 10 earlier versions (3956 and 3906 respectively) will not recognise version 3971 as an update - from the help menu.
Also I notice several updates can try and run together - I know it's a user (IE my) error but is it worth checking to see if an update is already running before allowing a parallel one?

Re: Update from 3956 not recognised
That's exactly as it should be at the moment. Here's how new versions generally work:
* Uploaded to web site and announced on forums and maybe facebook
* Wait 2-3 days minimum
* Check for any unexpected rise in crash reports or bug reports coming in from users
* Make available via auto-update
The idea of this is to allow a little time to spot any errors that have got past my testing before pushing out the build to hundreds of users.
You also only ever need to install the latest version - no need to run through all the versions one at a time. Every version is a full installer and wipes out any previous version installed automatically before installing itself.
cheers,
Robin
