Problem starting SharpCap on Win7 computer.

Hi,
I use SharpCap normally from a Windows 10 system and it works great.

I need to use an old WIndows7 32bit computer (service pack 1)inside the observatory for a while and have tried to run SharpCap on it.

I can install versions 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 but all crash if I try to open them.
The splash screen opens, the program opens in the background but then goes white and the crash screen opens behind the Splash screen.
It reports that SharpCap has crashed due to an interaction with KERNELBASE.dll.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling SharpCap to no avail. Can anybody help?

Hi,

All SharpCap version should work fine at the moment with a fully up-to-date version of Windows 7 SP1. Aside from making sure that your windows update has run through recently I would also consider investigating any antivirus that you have on the machine as problem's like this that don't seem to make any sense often get tracked down to antivirus software misbehaving.

Just to say it ended up being a problem with Microsoft .NET Framework.

I installed the latest version and everything works fine now.
