Dialogs and Pop-Ups to display on Monitor hosting SharpCap

#1

Post by s3igell »

Running SharpCap 3.2 on my Field Laptop, I've tried using a 2nd (FullHD) Monitor for most Display purposes while the Laptop built-in Display is only 1280x768. I've also tried running with the Laptop Lid shut to save Battery.
There are several SC Dialogs which seem insistent on opening on the default (Laptop) rather than Extended monitor window. Settings, Script Console, Help, etc.
Can SharpCap's Window Manager force the Dialogs to display on the Same Monitor as the main SharpCap Window??

It's not a viable option for me to change the Default Monitor in Windows10, else if I shutdown/crash without changing back then I cannot easily reboot the Laptop with just it's built-in monitor.

Hi, thanks for reporting this issue. I think a number of these window positions can be fixed fairly easily although some (like the help window) might be more trouble than they're worth. I will endeavour to make this change for a future build SharpCap shortly.

Cheers, Robin
