Sharpcap 4.0 (64) hardware tab not finding focusers?

Hi Robin,

Set up Hardware tab lists and find options for mounts in the drop down menu and loads and sets up my mount (Ioptron) successfully but doesn't seem to find or list anything under the focuser drop down menu (in my case it should find moonlite and Pegasus but nothing is listed)?

SC 3.2 finds them all fine with drivers etc all on the same computer

Hi Tim,

what ASCOM version do you have installed - it seems that updating fixes the problem, but do let me know the version you have - if it is anywhere close to recent I also need to fix the issue.

This happened to me. I updated from ASCOM 6.3 to 6.5 and SC 4.0 worked. Try updating ASCOM.

yes, I can confirm that it is ASCOM 6.3 - just tested it myself (ASCOM don't make finding old versions easy...).

I now have a fix in SharpCap for the next update that will work with all ASCOM versions (well 6.3, 6.4, 6.5 at the very least anyway).
