I use sometimes CCD autoplanner for a remote setup and was looking for an équivalent solution in local. SC 4 come just at the right time.. thanks again.

I am currently looking at this Deep Sky Sequencer Planner in the latest beta (4.0.7703.0).
I find the menu option is disabled.
I am connected to a camera (SVBony SV305).
What do I have to do to get the Deep Sky Sequencer Planner menu option enabled?
Cheers

Hi again
Some more info.
I found if I select the ASCOM SVBony driver the Deep Sky SP menu option is enabled, but if I select the SharpCap native driver it is disabled.
Hope that helps.
Phil

Hi Phil,

thanks for reporting this - the problem is that I only ever implemented the SVB camera still mode in the native driver (only the video mode). The sequence planner needs the still mode available.

I will try to get this corrected before next week's update.

cheers,

Robin

Fantastic thanks Robin.
I have a ZWO 533MC coming in a few weeks, so not really an issue for me but I am sure there will be other SV305 people out there that will want to take advantage of this great feature.

Hi Robin,
May I humbly suggest using a dithering interval based on number of frames vs. the current number of seconds? Easier to work with I think.

Hi,

to be honest, I agree with you, but the changes would be complex enough that I'm going to do them after the release of 4.0 (rather than try to do them now and possibly delay the release by any bugs)

cheers,
