Save histogram with capture

When saving a FITS or AVI we get the xyz data file + a file xyz.CameraSettings.txt.
Would it be possible to produce a file xyz.histogram.png – a histogram graphic (say 640x480) - at the time of generation of the camera settings file? This facility to be able to be turned on/off via a switch in File > SharpCap Settings.
This would be useful for analysing data 'the day after' and trying to make sense of successes and failures. The graphic would also be useful to submit alongside a forum question.
