Hello Dr. Glover & Others:
I just achieved success in doing sensor analysis on the Mallincamsky DS10c camera. I have an adjustable illumination led panel and after selecting Sensor Analysis:
1) I set the exposure to between 0.5-2.0seconds.
2) I follow the prompts on the screen and if need be adjust the illumination level so that the histogram is in the 60% area
3) Start
I saved the results to the clipboard but I don't know where the clipboard is.
I used Sharpcap last summer. I had trouble making flats that is why I drifted away from it but now I will give Sharpcap another try.
At present I am running Sensor Analysis on the Mallincamsky DS26c

Re: Sensor analysis SUCCESS on Mallincamsky DS10c
Hi,
glad to hear it worked
When the data is copied to the clipboard it means that you can then paste it into another application (Excel, notepad, etc). The 'clipboard' is the Windows name for the place that data goes in the time between you copying it in one place and pasting it in another.
cheers,
Robin
